Ready. Set. Shine. 3 Oils for the Shiniest Hair Ever

Picture 010

Oils are a natural girl’s best friend because they have so many benefits–moisture, conditioning, strengthening, growth, frizz control and SHINE!  If you’re natural or transitioning to natural stock up on these oils because you will ALWAYS need them.  You can never have too much oil.

Sweet Almond Oil works great as a sealant because it locks in moisture.  Almond Oil nourishes hair, smoothes hair cuticles to control shedding, promotes hair growth and thickness, prevents hair loss, and most importantly it BOOSTS SHINE.

My Suggested Use: After you shampoo and condition your hair apply a leave in conditioner and then massage sweet almond oil into your wet hair. Apply your moisturizer and style as normal.

Coconut Oil is great for preventing dandruff, promotes hair growth, moisturizing, strengthening hair, thickening hair, and preventing damage and most importantly it adds MAJOR SHINE.

My Suggested Use: Use coconut oil as a masque to deep condition your hair.  Blend coconut oil, honey, avocado, and banana together in a blender for a silky smoothe rich masque as shown in the video below.

Argan Oil is extremely nutritious with vitamins E and F, fatty acids, and antioxidants to name a few.  It absorbs easily and regulates pH balance of the skin and hair, protecting you from the sun.  Using this oil will leave your hair so SHINY, you won’t even understand it.

My suggested use: Apply Argan oil directly on your hair daily. Massage in hands and rub down twists/braids before loosening or massage it over loose hair.
